Symposium Movement
Hi John,
thanks for the site. I have been there before but it was
nice to go back with new eyes. I keep running into Brad
Goldberg. I wonder if it was at this symposium that he
made his first Japanese connection. The web site hase the
Japanese Granite carvers name garbled. I sorted it out
last time when I was smarter. I believe Brad Goldberg do
be a dedicated internationlist wanderer who scarcely
believes in staying home according to interviews printed
on the web. He has a web-site under construction and I
hope it gets it going soon. I would like to see more of
his work. I know he has done symposia in Scottland,
Austria and Japan.
I once called Okayusa Steel in Tokyo for information about
Japanese splitting tools. We could not communicate well
and so they ending up by saying--Call Brad Goldberg. He
knows everything! I actually believe he might. As you
know I keep asking about running a point on a chipping
hammer to work granite. Brad Golderg was at that Austrian
Symposioum where they used the very hammer and chisel I
have been asking about. I will call Brad Goldberg
someday; when I am ready to know everything.
Bill
