stone carving workshop
Quoted text begins.Philip has me thinking harder about the workshop. What other
information do you have about the event? Southern Hospitality is
never to be taken lightly.
End of quote.
Craig, et al,
for more information about the workshop and the instructor that you
can find at www.stonefoundation.org, email me directly or phone me at
the number you will find there.
included in the cost of the workshop is a 16" X 16" block of Indiana
limestone and a banker and the opportunity to learn some traditional
European carving techniques. Tadek teaches at all levels. it looks
like the enrollment will be less than a dozen (though more than a
half dozen) so students can expect a lot of direct instruction.
if you visit the site at the middle of the week I might have managed
by then to install on the Gallery page the recent photo feature about
the stonework of Poland by Tadek and his writer/photographer Juliet
Golden from the recent issue of STONEXUS Magazine. some interesting
carving therein.
Tomas
