Just my two bits: I find John Fisher and Peter Schipperheyn to be two great
Masters when it comes to realistic figurative sculpture in stone. The
technical execution of their pieces has always amazed me- has anyone seen
John Fisher's sculpture show out in the desert? I think its in California
and is called "Gallery Oasis". Its a collection of gleaming white marble
out in the orange sand. (I've only seen the pictures, but would love the
opportunity to check it out.)
