NIck, I looked at your carvings *before* I read your commentary, and
what you say is exactly what came to my mind. As a once-botanist and
also scuba diver I see the organic, and especially marine forms, in
your pieces. In fact, some are a curious meld of all three influences
you cite; mediaeval, Eastern and organic. Excellent!
