How'd he do that?
Hi Simon,
Thank you for the Keizo link. What a studio! There does
seem to be a whole school of math based carving/sculpture.
I put away a lot of links somewhere sometime ago; Klein
bottles and such; a mathematician turned carver,
prodigiously prolific carver; such as all that. Also
elegant and fascinating plastic milled computer generated
forms. Somewhat empty of touch and emotional foundation,
free of the biomorphism of touch and gravity and the
decisions of physical work process.
