How'd he do that?
Quoted text begins. Are we up for discussing the craftsmanship of certainty
vs the
craftmanship of risk,ala Mr. Pye?
End of quote.
I don't know Mr. Pye, but go for it Bob. I am all ears.
I think I fall into the high risk catagory, certainty
being in short supply. I see certainty as pre-lapserian.
Before my fall. I wait, looking for its return. Drawing
strikes me as a form of courageous certainty, Certainty
of the virtual. What a beautiful thing. A belief in a 3
D future for phantasmagora. Of course a drawing is
useless if not informed by real world experience.
Now, once again I don't know about Mr. Pye but it would
seem there is a whole other catagory of certainty which is
the zone of the recieved view. When one is working with
an established form with an accepted usage. This would be
in the area of fabrication.
There's my warm-up. Once again, go for it Bob!
