Lewis
Hi George,
I have seen what you are talking about and it is a quick and dirty
disposable single use form of a Lewis. I have heard it called some choice
names when they have slipped, but I won't mention them in such polite
company...lol I have usually seen the round stock have a flat spot to help
with the surface tension with the wedge(s). A real Lewis is less apt to
slip if installed property. There is just more surface friction area.
