Rick,

I hadn't seen these fountains until you prompted me to search - thank you!

I searched for 'Raja curved slate' and arrived at:
http://www.water-fountain.biz/pp_tower_wave_towerwave_floor_water_
fountain_fountains_waterfountains_water_wonders_waterwonders.htm >
among other sites.

These slate pieces appear to be naturally formed, that is folded
under immense pressures deep underground over millions of years.

The layers were probably formed by fluctuations in sediment layers, causing
weaknesses that enable the layers to be easily separated.

The indoor waterfall is a great idea - what else could you do with a cuved slate?
Wonder about its diuretic effects, though...

Simon
