Hi Philippe.

Lots of questions need to be answered before an appropriate
solution can be suggested. Does the carving continue from
block to block, and if so does the layout include joint spacing
or not?? If there is an established joint spacing such as 1/4
or 3/8 inch (common for architectural pieces) than you will want
to use an appropriate colored masonry cement, and by working the
mortar, you can continue the carving in such a way as to make
the gaps virtually unnoticable. If there is no allowance for
joint spacing, than epoxy is the way to go. You will need to
make sure that each stone is dimensioned exactly for this sort
of installation as it is rather difficult to make up any miss
dimensions in an epoxy joint while the width of a mortar joint
will allow for this. If the stone is one of the common
architectural stones, than you should have no problem finding
epoxies or mortar mixes to match. Oh, as a final observation,
if you are setting the stone with mortar joints, get ahold of
the hard plastic horseshoe shaped shims and dry set the stone
prior to tucking the joint.
Good luck,
