Tenn. marble source
Philippe,
I don't know too much about sculpture, but it seems to me that carving
old faces (such as your Spider) is rare. I almost always see smooth
faces, or maybe some strong facial features, maybe even from time to
time an aged, sagging Thomas Jefferson, as recently discussed. But
Spider goes much farther. And if I had a lot of money I would buy it,
and Fisherman's Daughter and Zimbabwe while I was at it.
