Article on shop design.
Hi, Bill. I would also like to get a copy of the article when it's
available.
I've been lurking for a while now because I recently bought a townhouse,
and am completely overwhelmed by all of the paperwork, moving, etc etc.
It's considerably smaller than what Norman has, but the basement will be
enough for me for a few years.
If anyone has any suggestions for inexpensive [dust-proof]
space-division, please let me know. Unfortunately, the laundry
facilities, water boiler, and forced air gizmo are all down in the
basement too. The good thing is they're all against one wall. The
ceilings have "I" beams, and the basement is otherwise unfinished.
(Also, the backyard is unusable because it's small, in a residential
area, and covered by snow during half of the year.)
Looks like I'll be working in alabaster for the next few years, so noise
and toxicity aren't too much of a problem.
Julianna
(p.s. Yes, this is a new email address, for those of you who noticed ;))
