One of the ways that I vent space is by using old squirrel cage blowers
salvaged from house furnace blowers. These puppies can really move a lot of
air. They can be easily adapted to cellar windows, and I have a portable
one mounted at "old house window height" to fit into a window when I am
tearing out the old plaster and sanding sheetrock. It is much easier for
those of us with allergies to nearly everything. Good sources are first and
foremost.. The Dump. You can also get them this time of year from folks who
install forced hot air furnaces for prices not quite as good as at the dump.
I tend to grab good ones when I see them. If anyone is in the NH, USA area,
I have an extra one in the barn.
