Pointing machine
No one fell for the fake rat carving! When I first caught
a glimpse of "Pinkie" I was exited by the possibility of
texture and detail that I thought unimaginable. The
simulacrum of carving is an interesting formula for
impressing the viewer. I.e to borrow the ring of
authenticty that direct carving confers.
I apologize to both Mr. Charles Kibby and Mr. Paul Rigby,
both of our list, for confusing their identities. It was
Paul Rigby who sent me the Gabrielle Rovai calliper how
to and and was as baffled by it as much as I.
Simon, you ask what's so difficult about calliper
enlargement? As one who has tried to learn from the Rovai
manual I would not ask for clarification on any of the
terms presented there but would throw it out and ask you
afresh: Simon, how do you do caliper enlargement? It if
really is quite complicated and we both have the Rovai
text in common I will re-engage the battle in the now
empty arena of my previous defeat should you offer to lead
me in the fight!
It seems like something one ought to know.
