Subject: mortar for limestone blocks

Um...we've just been using a mix of stone-dust, lime and cement [white and
ordinary] for mortar between limestone blocks in a 7,5,2 proportion. Is this
an o.k. practice?
Can you buy lime putty off the shelf?
if you go to the sculpture page on the recently up-dated site

with those joints
