Thanks for your response. So a solitary person can not
caliper enlarge?
I think I understand the basic principle as I stated.
Probably as Simon hints, the easy way to learn would be to
be exposed to it in person.
No I have not used a pantograph. They look interesting.
From what I could tell from web pictures one would need to
link twin turntables, which does sound a little complex
involving a belt or geared chain. Am I correct?
