Subject:
gravestones/funeral homes
Hi everyone!
Here's a question I'm not sure anyone will want to tackle, but feel free to
reply to me directly if it's not appropriate for the general list.
For those of you who carve gravestones, do you rely on your own advertising,
word of mouth etc. to contact potential clients, or do you become involved
with funeral homes? If you do become involved with funeral homes, what kind
of a percentage do they expect? I am going to be having several meetings
with funeral homes in January to discuss this, but am interested to hear
what happens in other parts of the country/world. Because I need to work
directly with my clients, I am really only looking for a referral service,
handing out brochures; but I do realize this will not happen without a
price, and I want to be fair to them, but not get taken for more than I need
to either.
Any comments would be much appreciated.
Seasons Greetings!
Karen
