Firstly CAD is Computer Aided Design and has nothing to do with machinery. What you probably mean is CIM (Computers In Manufacture) or CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture) which are basically higher degrees of sophistication than NC machinery which stands for Numerically Controlled machinery.
The idea that machine made art is devoid of emotion is clearly false. Think again and go and see some contemporary sculpture.
