I did not say anything about machines having emotions. As Norman has correctly said, I was talking about humans reacting with emotion to sculpture made by machines. Many artists don't make their own work but have it made for them and sometimes by industrial companies.
Others in general
There seems to be something about selling art works going on and using that as a reason for using machinery to make things. Well personally I really don't care whether anyone buys my work or not. I make art because I want to; and how quickly it is made is not of much consequence to me. I just happen to like making things. That is what I have done all my life. It just so happens that I use machinery to make my work. I don't have any NC machines but I do use CAD quite a lot. I make things for other artists and for my students but I don't charge my students for my time. I just love making art and it doesn't matter to me that much whether I'm making my art or someone else's.
