Prayer Stone/ Gravity Restored
Bill,
Sorry , but I didn't get to central park, and don't know about Christo's
arches. I went as a simple tourists, and as you know , there is to much to
see and not enough time.
The highlights for me was the egyptian exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of
Art. The width and breadth of the collection is amazing. Can't say enough
about it.
The lions in front of the NYC public library are one my favorite stone cats.
I took a close look and was surprised to see some big patches of inlayed
stone on the one on the right. The lions appeared to made from Tennessee
marble. Not the pink, but more of a beige.
