Dear Bob,
Thank you for your glowing encomia (-iums? Praise).
I think you will eventually see me for the miserable wretch that I am,
but thanks anyway. You are very kind. I hope I wasn't overly
calculating in extracting your sympathy, but my distress was real.
You do represent a good figurehead for one of the positions in this
discussion/ arguement that I am having with myself. I argued with
Mr.Pye quite vividly a few days ago while shovelling gravel, but am
really quite inarticulate on the whole matter. Thank you for bringing
your view point as well as that of Mr. Pye's into my maelstrom. Every
tornado needs "furniture" to hurl about. The addition of your views,
seriously, does throw light, afford relief and add depth, thank you.
