Re Wet Look.
Hi Dan,
Thanks for your 2 bits.
It's a black granite with some pretty big crystals in it. Some are about
the size of a quarter or larger with some wicked labradoresence. I do have tin oxide, but not the 3 thousand grit sandpaper. I'll get in touch with my local
abrasives supplier.
The issue for me is that, between the big crystals, there are what looks like crackes. If you brush water on the piece, it looks great but when it
drys the crackes come up. I bought some Tung oil and it helps a bit, but I
really wonder how far I have to go with this thing.
