travel gear
Greetings carvers, I have a practical question. I frequently travel and
I usually take a small carving that I'm working on with me. I'm curious
if anyone has come found a good "travel bag" for ~ 10 hand tools (rasps,
files & small chisels). Previously, I've just slung everything in a
heavy-duty plastic bag, but that's less than optimal. Pen collectors
have these "wallet-type" cases with elastic loops for each pen, but
they're more than I want to spend and also too short for most tools.
Any ideas?
Also there were a few comments on one of the large "lips" sculpture on
one of the interesting sculpture sites and I just wanted to mention that
our very own Don Dougan has done some very interesting "lips" sculptures
that can be found on his site www.dondougan.homestead.com .
