Verdite
Hello All,
Is anyone familiar with a stone called Verdite? If so, could you please
provide any information as to its hardness, ease of carving and polishing,
etc? I have come across several pieces at a stone yard which are about
200lbs each. The stone is beautiful but has a quartz like appearance which
makes me question it as a stone for sculpture. I am told it comes from
Africa where they do sculpt it.
Any help would be appreciated.
