Subject: sculpture zines and diamond bits

Greetings Carvers, I subscribe to sculpture review which is reasonably
priced and has a fair amount of stone work in it, or work that is
relevant to stone carving (like plaster or wood). It's not perfect, but
its the best thing that I've seen on the newsstand. I have to admit to
not having read our own Tom Lipps zine -- it looked very impressive. On
another note, I'm looking for something that I can put in a drill or die
grinder that is long and thin and diamond coated or file-like. Think of
a 6 or 9" drill bit in die-grinder file shape or diamond coated (or with
some other abrasive like carborundum) -- anyone have any ideas? No I've
checked a few catalogs without luck, but thought maybe someone knew of
one right off. BTW, in reference to my inquiry about a tool bag that
would fit in a suitcase -- Day-Timers had a special on a large dernier
nylon travel "bathroom" kit that proved to be perfect. It was about
10"X14X4 and had all sorts of waterproof compartments. Cost was $20, I
don't know if anyone else was interested but I can supply the web site
if you contact me via the back door. This was for hand tools for
carving small pieces of soft stone that I take with me on trips to
alleviate hotel-room boredom. atb, g
