Tin Oxide vs Zinc Oxide
Marla,
I've never used zinc oxide on anything, so it's new to me. I hope you test
it and tell all what you think of it.
Because alabaster will degrade when lift out in the elements, I like
polishing to be as simple as possible. The trewax stone tile sealer , rubbed
on a 600grit finish, gives me a high polish I like. It takes 2 or 3
applications to shine up. I tried tin oxide, but it was too much work, and
I'm getting lazy. Waxing like you do is a very traditional method, and sure
gives a fantastic finish. I'm very curious to hear how zinc oxide compares.
