Tyndall limestone - or surface patterns and form
Karen - may I ask an impertenant question? Do you
like the finished look of Tyndall limestone? I'm
being cheeky because I think your work (which I
admire) is to some extent hidden by the pattern
inherent in the stone. Looking at other pictures on
the web it's an exciting stone to look at, with many
different and recognisable fossil forms in it. As I
ramble on I suppose I'm really exposing my dislike of
surface pattern obscuring form - marbles and onyx with
big patterns used at anything other than large scale
jar with me (unless it's an inherent part of the
overall design). Am I alone in such a narrow view?
