Working Large Blocks
I haven't used a turntable for large blocks like this, but I think that
it would be a nuisance. The block would shift with every press from
hand or tool. Use a miller to turn the stone as you need it -
a miller is a small block of hard stone. Get someone to help position
it under the centre of gravity of your block, and it will turn easily.
Take it out when you have the piece in position.
