Introduction
Quoted text begins. My name is, Ted. I am a novice stone carver. Most of my background is
in masonry and stonecutting for residential and commercial purposes,
mostly working in limestone, e.g., signage, mantelpieces,
hearthstones, etc. I have always wanted to sculpt stone and
especially to learn the craft of lettering in stone.
End of quote.
Hi Ted.
Welcome to the list
Where is home for you? Sounds like you are following about the
same road into carving that I took quite a few years ago. It's
a real adventure. Try your lettering technique in some of that
limestone you use.
Stick around, it's a good group, and a good place to pick up
some knowledge.
