cost of hauling stone
Norman:
The best rate that I've received from a trucking company (and this was for a
load from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles) was 11 cents a pound. Usually the
hauling charges run about 14-15 cents a pound and the load should be already
palleted, secure and ready to go. Sometimes you have to wait a few weeks to
get it - especially if it's just one pallet because the rock is literally
"hitching a ride" with someone else's load.
