Visit to Los Angeles
Nick,
For Indian and Southeast Asian stone sculpture there are two excellent
museum collections:
1) The I & SEA collections at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art
2) The Norton Simon Museum, Pasadena
Both have extremely good sculpture in stone types ranging from sandstones
to granite and marbles.
The Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena also has important collections but they
are not so deeply developed in stone sculpture and the ones they have are
generally on a small scale.

I am taking a trip from England to L.A. ....
museums in the area which have good displays of stone sculpture. I am
especially interested in Indian Asian sculpture and Far Eastern
sculpture.
