Stonemasonry in Ohio?
Hi,
I just found out I'll be leaving my beloved Shenandoah Valley for the
flatlands of Ohio this summer (my wife's going to gradschool at Ohio State).
Anybody know anything about the stone scene in Columbus? Think an
experienced mason can find work easy enough or will I have to start gluing
fake stone onto Ruby Tuesdays in strip malls? I have a good feeling about
it because of the "Ohio Stonemason" interview in Studs Terkel's Working. He
was about the only person in the whole book that loved his work.
