Stonemasonry in Ohio?
I cannot comment on the availability of stone mason jobs in Ohio but I know of a few quarries that are turning out some beautiful sandstone blocks that are used for buildings and landscaping. The sandstone is quarried in Coshocton, Holmes and Knox counties and varies from a deep red color, purple, yellow, brown, gray and white. The company is the Briar Hill Stone Company. They have a processing plant in Holmes County which I hope to visit in the near future. In addition to the sandstone, there is quite a bit of limestone that is quarried all over Ohio.
I wish you well in your job search and welcome to Ohio!
