Hi and a Boulder splitting question
Thanks for the input everyone. Sounds like it's doable but slow, since I may
need to split it more than once before I get the remaining stone to be the
right height and shape. Currently I'm waiting for building permits. If the
permits continue to be delayed, and I have the time, I plan to take a closer
look at the boulder and attack it this week once my wedges arrive. But if I
get permits this week I'll have a backhoe operator get it out of the way
(assuming it's small enough to move) and just get on with construction.
