Hi and a Boulder splitting question
Jeff,
With all the different ideas floating around I was wondering what option you
would choose. If the boulder isn't too large and can be just taken away,
that is the best option, so it appears to me. If you don't want it in your
yard as a decorative piece, one of your friends might, or one of the local
stone yards might take it off your hands. Someone will want the darned
thing (I don't know why - personally I don't like those big boulders laying
around. I don't think it looks all that great). If possible, definitely
have the backhoe drag it out and just get rid of it. Spare yourself all the
nonsense of having to deal with chisels, wedges, drilling, hammers, removal,
dynamite, fire and blah, blah, blah.
Ted
