New subject: how to keep tools in humid enviroment free of rust?
Hi guys,
I ask that question :how to keep tools free of rust in a humid
environment?because I live in Miami and I sculpt out of my garage and I keep
my tools in the garage in a canvas bag. Even after cleaning all the dust and
stone debris from the tools, when I leave them for like a week without using
them, I find them somewhat rusted and I don't know what to do. I was
thinking of using some kind of tool oil, but how do I clean the oil before I
sculpt again? alcohol? I have never been around tools until I started
sculpting and I am not familiar with all those things " tool lovers" do and
know.
Any ideas of what to do? and if the tool is already a little rusted, like a
rasp with ridges, what can I do besides scream and hit my head for not
protecting my expensive tools?
Thanks for any help.....
