As long as you are not faced with direct salt spray, you don't really need a
refrigerator. All you are really looking for is a simple, easy-to-open box
to heat.
A Styrofoam cooler with a piece of stone on the top would probably work, too.
Just be safe with the light bulb and don't overdo the wattage.
I've seen "heater in an uninsulated box" arrangements keep the coastal
California fog off of electronics for years.
