New subject: how to keep tools in humid enviroment free of rust?
There are several ways to dry gases and liquids. Activated alumina,
silica gel (not really a gel), molecular sieve, etc are examples. These
are all available in pellet form, and you can buy them from
desiccantcity and similar places. Just put them in a low can in the
corner of any sealable box (picnic cooler, plastic tub, wood box) and
the air will stay pretty dry. They are easy to re-use, you just heat
them in an oven, some change color (blue/pink) depending on whether
they are hydrated or dry. Inexpensive, reuseable, no stink, non greasy,
non-toxic, portable.
