Dream Tools
Simon, don't worry if your t-axle lathe setup looks rough, I'd still
like to see it. It reminds me, when I was a kid growing up in Nova
Scotia there was this guy who lived alone in a big dilapidated old
house. The place was on a slope close to the water and it had multiple
yards with high wooden fences around it filled with all manner of trash
and equipment. He built anything and everything using old car parts,
bits from saw mills, the warf, etc. One day I watched him sawing fire
wood with a big round saw blade he was driving with a long belt running
over the back wheel of a 40's pick up truck with no bed. I was
fascinated. Another time I watched as he drove his car quickly across
his lower yard, over a ramp for the right side wheels, and turned the
thing neatly on its roof. Then he crawled out. It was easier to get at
the bottom bits that way. You're not like that are you? :)
