You know what Norm - I'm a great believer in Sods Law
- chances are whatever you buy there'll be a niggling
doubt about whether it was the right choice. The
discussion about dream tools was, I think, another
expression of the same sort of feeling: 'I know what I
want to do and I would like the right tool to make it
happen' (as opposed to: 'coo, wot a nice tool').

Having consulted this fabulous group a while back I
finally bought a decent small angle grinder last week.
It's unsophisticated, it works, it's the right scale
for the work I'm trying to do now - probably! The
point (in amongst the persiflage) is that there comes
a point when you just have to go for it and enjoy the
stone :-) I know, I know: I'm stating the bleedin
obvious .... Whatever your final decision I hope it's
at least 90% right for you :-)

chipping!)
