Ken,
You can try this old number for Miles Supply Co. 1-800-396-8049. They are in
Barre Vemont. Ask for Jim, if he is stilll there. It's been a couple of
years since I talked to them.
The plowing that you appear to have can be improved by getting real accurate
measurments from the blade to the bridge. You need to find a place to
measure from on the bridge, so you can find out which way the blade is
canted. Then , with shims or screws, bolts or whatever you come up with, you
line up the blade with the bridge. Did I mention that you need to be plumb
also?
It's a lot of fussy work, but all this kind of stuff will get you much
longer teeth life.
This kind of measuring was done by setting up a tripod on your saw table,
and giving the blade turn and see what kind of measurments you get.
Hanging a plumb bob from the top of the blade to see how plumb the blade is
easy.
A warped blade is something I've seen repaired , but,,,, if you don't know
what you are doing, leave it to an expert. I sware it's some sort of magic!

Miles Supply used to come to the shop, or you could ship your blade to them.
Check it out.
It sounds like you are a MUCH better mechanic than I, so I'm sure you can do
a lot of this yourself.
Good luck,
George Graham
