Thanks for the description from Crossley's book. I think this method
would also be suitable for replacing missing letters on an existing
monument (vertical face). The copy of "Lettering in Stone" that I ordered
should arrive here week after next.
Tillet's in Adelaide have a published a summary of their molten pouring

I apologise for sounding pedantic regarding the copyright issue. I only
meant that I wouldn't ask you to do it when I could order the book.
