Need advice
Hello Everyone,
My name is Steve, and I have been lurking on this list for a
year or so, with only the occasional comment, but now I need to
stop lurking, and ask a question.
I am working on a small (8"x 8"x 12") piece of Bardiglio marble.
I use hand chisels, and a Dremel for fine detail work.
The piece is of a person sitting in an archway.
I just cracked the arch.
The arch is about 1"x 1" thick, and the break is diagonal,
running about 2.5" to 3".
The crack diagonally bisects that side of the 1 piece arch.
My question:
What glue or epoxy will repair the crack the best,
knowing that I still have a lot more carving to
do in the area and that the repair will be visible.
Thanx in advance,
Steve
