Phillip,
I agree with your premise that a crack should be dealt with. If nothing
else I have found gluing a crack early can stabilize it from further
splitting and thus allow me to complete the work. I should mention that I
do not sell my work, so the honesty issue is not a factor for me.
Can you please provide more info on the less-viscous epoxies you mentioned.
I know people in this group stay away from recommending brands, but maybe
you could make an exception here.
