Home-made lathe photos
Hi Simon,
I was looking forward to seeing more details of your stone lathe. You
are right, its pretty darn rough. Regardless, it seems to work well. I
assume the head and tail stock have to be very well aligned or it would
never work properly? Is there a speed controller for the motor? I
imagine that turning it on the first time with a not-yet-symmetrical
stone in it you would worry about it being thrown out!
