I just saw the exhibit this weekend and what a great time to go to DC to
look at sculpture! Not only is Goldsworthy and Noguchi up there but at
the Philips collection there is a wonderful exhibit of Modigliani's
paintings and sculpture. They have 5 or 6 of his carved heads on
display. The Native American Museum has a Allan Houser stone sculpture
exhibit well. Also, not stone, but worthy to mention, Ron Mueck's "Big
man" is back on display at the Hirshhorn.
