noguchi & d.c. shows
YES norman! i feel so fortunate to have seen the noguchi exhibit (at
the hirshorn, which is a part of the smithsonian), as well as the
goldsworthy domes (judy, this is a permanent collection, commissioned
by the national gallery) ... AND the toulouse lautrec/montmartre show,
also at the national gallery ... AND i saw the most incredible
modigliani exhibit at the phillips, also in d.c., thanks to our own
"abknight" ... my 2 days of gallery hopping were incredible, and
sooooooo inspirational ... judy, you and your husband should
absolutely try and see all these exhibits, if possible, and i had no
problem getting in to see any of them (the lautrec was the most
crowded, but still no problem) ...
thanks much to norman and bill (abknight) for letting me know of this
great opportunity ... i LOVE this stone-list for so many, many reasons
... edie

Quoted text begins.Edie, did you (or any of you others) make it to DC to see the Noguchi
exhibit? I finally took some time and went to see it. I've always
associated his name largely with the interlocking plates of stone, but
he did so much more.
End of quote.
