Pedestals for sculpture
From: "Don Dougan":
Quoted text begins.I realize you probably asked the question in hopes of
obtaining a simple,
easy answer to the problem, but I don't think that there is a single easy
answer.
End of quote.
Well, Don, you have me dead to rights. In my simple-minded way I was
thinking of something along the lines of "Pedestals R Us." As I first
became more proficient with sculputre, I learned that bases are equally
important. And now I find myself surprised yet again by my own naivity.
However, your comments, and those from Clive and all the others, have been
very useful. Thank you all (and anyone else who chimes in subsequently on
this thread) for your valuable thoughts.
