Pedestals for sculpture

I always have my pedestals on bases. Otherwise, my work looks
incomplete.

Pedestals on bases? I can see a sculpture with a base on a pedestal
but are we talking about another base under the pedestal? Or am I even
more confused than I thought? I think this is one of those situations
where a picture might be worth a thousand words, Bill. I have followed
a few links to see what people are using for pedestals, but mostly I
found bases (I think . . . ). :-)
