Granite Problem
William,
Drilling and then using feathers and wedges is always the easiest. You get
the most stone removal for the least amount of work. After that , cutting
parallel trenchs or saw cuts,(which will eventually intersect some place on
the face of the earth) and breaking off the stone between cuts. Cutting with
a diamond blade or cutting channels with an air hammer or electric
demolition tool, the concept is the same. Cut as deep as the cuts are apart,
and get a splitter in there and pop the stone off.
What are you working on? It sounds like you are leveling off a giant metal
meteor!
Good luck,
George Graham
