exploding rocks
The not so wise old Indian has to throw his 2 cents in with this
thread, any rock that has moisture trapped in it will explode or spall
when it is heated enough, that is why you never use river rock for
ringing campfires, or saunas (steambaths), the moisture trapped in it
will turn to steam and explode, I suppose porous rock would be fine??
